About Us
Built on Experience. Driven by Quality. Committed to Excellence.
At Insane Renovations (Pty) Ltd, we believe exceptional results begin long before the first tool is picked up. They begin with understanding our clients, recognizing the potential of their spaces, and having the knowledge, experience and dedication to bring their vision to life.
Established in 2017, Insane Renovations is a Johannesburg-based renovation and property improvement company built on a foundation of hands-on industry experience, practical problem-solving and a genuine passion for quality workmanship.
From complete kitchen and bathroom transformations to specialized waterproofing, roofing, painting, construction and custom installations, we offer comprehensive solutions tailored to each property’s unique requirements.
What sets us apart is our approach. We don’t simply focus on how a finished project looks; we pay close attention to the preparation, materials, installation methods and technical details that determine how well it performs for years to come.
Combining traditional industry knowledge with modern equipment, precision measuring tools and innovative 3D design technology, we aim to deliver work that is carefully planned, professionally executed and built to last.
As an owner-led business, we value honest communication, accountability and the trust our clients place in us. Whether we’re completing a small repair or undertaking a substantial property transformation, every project deserves the same level of care, respect and attention to detail.
Because to us, it’s more than just a renovation. It’s your property, your investment and your vision — and we take that responsibility seriously.
Your Vision. Our Expertise. Built to Last.

Our Story
From Hands-On Experience to Building Something of Our Own
Insane Renovations was founded on 17 May 2017, but the knowledge and experience behind the company began long before then.
Our journey started with practical, on-site experience, learning the construction and renovation industry from the ground up. From working as a foreman to establishing an independent company, the goal was always the same: to build a business recognized for dependable workmanship, professional service and lasting results.
Our background also includes more than 30 years of family industry experience in waterproofing, contributing to the practical knowledge and specialized techniques we continue to develop and apply today.
What began as a passion for quality renovations has grown into a company offering a comprehensive range of property improvement services across Johannesburg.
Over the years, we’ve embraced new materials, modern technology, specialist equipment and innovative design solutions — without losing sight of the traditional craftsmanship and attention to detail that form the foundation of our work.
We’re proud of where we started, passionate about what we do, and committed to continually improving the standards we deliver.
Work with the best or suffer like the rest!
